Toppr raises Rs 45 crore from SAIF Partners, Helion Ventures and FIL Capital Management
BENGALURU: Edtech startup Toppr has raised Rs 45 crore in its second round of Series B funding, led by its existing investors SAIF Partners, Helion Ventures and FIL Capital Management. Toppr had raised a cumulative $12 million in May 2014 and May 2015 in its Seed and Series B funding rounds.

Govt waives fine for delayed filing of August, September GST returns
NEW DELHI: The government today waived penalty on delayed filing of initial GST returns for the months of August and September. He said that the late fee which has been already charged to businesses will be credited back to taxpayers' accounts.

Coal India looks to cut power producers’ transport costs
Coal India plans to rationalise supply sources for private power producers to reduce the distance over which coal is carried in an effort to cut transport and generation costs. The state-run monopoly will soon invite private generators to participate in the scheme.
