Union Budget 2018: EV makers seek incentive boosters in form of lower GST, registration charge exemption
NEW DELHI: In the upcoming Union Budget 2018, electric vehicle manufacturers seek rebate in Goods & Services Tax (GST) on electric vehicles and its parts. Currently, 12 percent GST is levied on electric vehicles while its parts including battery attract 28 percent GST.
