Government may have to shell out Rs 2000 cr on procurement losses: Shobhana Pattanayak, Farm Secy
In an interview with ET Now, Shobhana Pattanayak, Agriculture Secretary, says last year, only Rs 900 crore was spent for supporting the losses from procurement operations of the previous year. This year it may rise to Rs 2000 crore.
