Govt can abolish dividend distribution tax for cos, but tax the recipient: R Shankar Raman, L&T
The biggest lever that the government has in its budgetary plan is the tax revenue receipts. Abolishing dividend distribution tax on companies and taxing the recipients instead and taxing rich agriculturists can be a solution, says R Shankar Raman , CFO, L&T , in an interview with ET Now.
