Trouble for realtors taking advance service tax from buyers
MUMBAI: Joydeep Shome, a Mumbai resident who has bought a flat in an under-construction building, recently got a call from the builder asking him to pay an ‘advance service tax’ so that he could avert higher rate under the goods and services tax.
