Processing FDI proposals: The way forward
The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has been abolished and wound-up by the Government of India recently. The FIPB was initially constituted under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) at the time of economic liberalization in the early 1990s.
